FUNHCAE

Who We Are
Fundación Hondureña de Capacitación Especial, FUNHCAE, is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to train parents and professionals to provide specialized care for children and adults with neurological disorders.

What We Do
Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, mental retardation and autism are, among others, the neurological problems that require the involvement of parents and professionals who, with proper training from FUNHCAE programs, are able to guide the children suffering from these disorders to a better life.

Where We Work
In our center located in Colonia La Mora, in San Pedro Sula, we have a space in which to provide information about the program (the Glenn Doman method) and where children with these neurological disorders who have already begun a neurological rehabilitation program can work with their parents.

How You Can Help
If you’d like to be a part of FUNHCAE, you can make monetary donations or donations in kind (furniture, equipment, volunteer, etc.), suppport our fundraising activities directly or indirectly and support parental training activities.
